Terms of Use
The ILYF app is for members of an ILYF chapter. By signing in you agree to the points below. They are short because the app is a tool for a community that already has its own rules; those rules apply here too.
Membership
- Access is by invitation from a chapter admin and lasts while your membership is active. The chapter decides who is a member; the app only reflects that.
- Your sign-in is your mobile number and a one-time code. Do not share the code, and tell your admin if your number changes.
Your content
- Keep your profile truthful: your real name, your real business. Other members rely on it to refer work to you.
- Referrals, visitor invitations and revenue you report are chapter records. Enter them honestly; they feed the chapter's reporting.
- Photos you upload must be yours to use and suitable for a business community.
Using other members' details
Contact details in the app are shared so members can do business with each other. Use them for that. Do not export the member list, add members to marketing lists or groups without asking, or pass their details to anyone outside the chapter.
What the chapter may do
- Chapter admins may edit membership status, categories and committee roles, send meeting reminders and announcements, and remove content that breaks these terms.
- Access may be suspended or ended when a membership lapses or when these terms are broken.
The service
The app is provided as-is by a volunteer-run chapter. We try to keep it available and accurate but cannot promise either, and we are not liable for business decisions made on information in the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under law.
